Ghana U-20 football team leaves for the 12th Africa games in Morocco

Yaw Preko, the coach of the Ghana under 20 team the Black Satellites and his final 18-man squad are set to leave for the 12th Africa Games in Morocco. 54 nations in Africa are participating in the games in various disciplines including football, athletics, basketball, boxing, fencing, swimming, gymnastics etc. The games is expected to be officially opened by King Mohammed VI, the king of Morocco, on 19th of August 2019 and will be held from the 19th – 31st August 2019.

The Under 20 team which is made up of mainly local based players is expected to leave the country on Tuesday 13th August for the games which starts on Friday August 16. Ghana’s first game at the championship will be against Burundi on Saturday August 17. Senegal and Mali are the other teams in Ghana’s group
